Not to worry, Crystal – I smelled the “new generation” years ago.

You need to do a little math yourself, like what has been successful and what has failed over 6000 years of recorded human history. Societies and cultures have devolved with their blessing of “alternative moralities.” But your typical “me first” arrogance perfectly describes what I see on a daily basis. You didn’t learn any critical-thinking skills from the folks – and you certainly won’t from the schools – so we’re stuck with an entire generation of self-serving egotists without a clue. I’d say “Enjoy!” but you wouldn’t know the difference.

you people are so closed minded…..wake up and smell the new generation….we are in 2009. Society is changing and it will keep changing. Get over yourselves, a person should marry because of love, it doesn’t matter who marries as long as they do it for the right reason. Stay out of other peoples lives and fix your own. The generation of 2009 will not let you people tell others how to live there lives…so open your eyes and if you don’t want to and are still being ignorant well then start getting use to it…or stay in your house and never come out…!!!!!!! power to freedom, and freedom of religion, power to love. Adulturyis caused by 70% of straight marriages and the reason why the divorce rate is up is all thanks to straights…do your math!!!!

Some plans should not be followed through. Like the gay agenda to get married to my children. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Mighty Jesus will descend from the Heavens and save us.

It may be popular nowadays to be gay, what with all the special rights it affords you under the law, but it will never be right with me or Jesus.

Joe…the US is the land of opportunity. NOTHING can stand in the way of a man (or woman) with a plan and the courage to follow it through. NO-THING. THE battle that’s being waged today is a multi-pronged one for our hearts and minds. Most have surrendered already. Just look at all the cute-see, disrespectful posts on this thread. Many sacrifice their own character to be popular with other people they don’t know – and can’t possibly like. I was under the impression that this bill to protect marriage was being presented in all seriousness. I see now that it is not the case. Clowns are a dime-a-dozen and won’t get a decent hearing.

Exactly. It all boils down to choosing to turn away from Christ. Christ is a warrior and we must fight the battle against darkness with him lest we get drawn into Satan’s realm like our great nation is now. I hope in 2012 when we elect Sarah Palin to president we can reclaim our moral might and repel all the evils of anti-Christianity (gay marriage, abortion, divorce by women, divorce by gays, income tax on hard-working Christians, welfare, government socialism, etc.)
