We live in frightening times. In New York they are building an Islamic cultural center (or “victory/death mosque”) based on the YMCA. Have you ever been inside the locker-room in a YMCA? All this so-called “cultural center” is doing is providing me with yet another place where I can accidentally see some old guy’s junk — and that terrifies me.

But the real people we need to be afraid of are divorcees. They are destroying the very moral fabric of this country. Our Founding Fathers didn’t get divorced! They bought slaves and had sex with them, but they didn’t get divorced! And that’s important.

The liberal elites want us to be “reasonable.” They want us to tone our rhetoric down. If we lost all of our irrational fear, how would we know who to blindly vote against?

That’s why Rescue Marriage will be proudly and angrily shouting in Washington, D.C., on October 30th, with Stephen Colbert to drown out the voices of reason and keep fear alive!

It’s a good time to make a movie about traditional marriage, because once the initiative passes, the only place you’ll be able to find divorce will be the History Channel.

The strength of my arguments remains unchallenged as I managed to convert communist sympathizer Keith Olbermann to our cause. We shouldn’t be too lavish with our praise, though, as Olbermann merely confirmed what I already knew.

After years of softening up by the walking hairpiece with teeth known as Sean Hannity, it was my turn to challenge Fox’s in-house liberal Alan Colmes on his nationally syndicated radio talk show.

Pat Robertson understands traditional values — perhaps better than anyone else. The conservative evangelical founder of the 700 Club knows that women should submit to their husbands, that God thinks that assassinating foreign leaders is OK and that evangelical Christians in the liberal United States are just like Jews in Nazi Germany.*

But Pat is a tolerant man. He spoke of the redemptive quality of God’s love when confronted with the evils of men having their timbers shivered by Jack Sparrow at Disney World during “Gay Days.”

I would warn Orlando that you’re right in the way of some serious hurricanes, and I don’t think I’d be waving those flags in God’s face if I were you, This is not a message of hate — this is a message of redemption. But a condition like this will bring about the destruction of your nation. It’ll bring about terrorist bombs; it’ll bring earthquakes, tornadoes, and possibly a meteor.

It is precisely because of Pat’s stronger-than-average grasp of traditional values, that I was thrilled to find out that we were the lead news story on Pat’s Christian Broadcast Network! I was so excited that I could have kissed Pat — and maybe taken him for a trip on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.

There isn’t much new content here, since they basically repackaged the News10 story and made it shorter. But now that the national media has seen the passion and righteousness of our cause, it’s only a matter of time before we’re on Face the Nation.

Liberal elitist reporter George Warren tried to pigeonhole the entire anti-divorce movement as some sort of absurd joke, but despite his leading questions and out-of-context editing, I think our message got through.

…due to the traffic that came our way after we were featured on the front page of BoingBoing: A Directory of Wonderful Things.

BoingBoing linked to the interview we did with Cockeyed.com. Cockeyed.com linked to us. And that spillover traffic was still  almost enough to kill the site. We flipped a bunch of switches behind the scenes so hopefully that won’t happen again.

Skip the interview if you have already read it, but there are some fantastic comments on the BoingBoing article. Those are worth the price of admission alone.
